SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional more info office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support level produced for intervention ordeals a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA status sassa will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
